Joiku will be built at the foot of the fells of Ylläs, to the shore of the lake. Winter sports enthusiasts will also be delighted by the one located a few kilometers away Ylläs Ski Resort and scenic ski slopes, which leave directly next to the plot.
The wonderful location is also confirmed by the neighboring landmark Ylläs Swing, behind which the beautiful lake views of the postcard landscape have served as the background for countless photos. Sometimes this same landscape is framed by the windows of the living room.
Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park pampers hikers and mountain bikers thanks to numerous routes, the closest of which start from the east side of Lake Äkäslompolo.
